St Peter & St Paul Swalcliffe, part of the Wykeham Benefice of churches, warrants a visit at anytime. The doors are open for private prayer and reflection, and to enjoy the splendour and history of a grade I listed medieval building. The churchyard too is a beautiful, peaceful spot in the heart of the village.

Our schedule of services varies. Details can be found online by searching the A church near you website for Swalcliffe Church and then selecting “services and events” followed by “calendar”. Service times are also posted on a notice board by the church steps and in the monthly local publications The Link and Wykeham Benefice News.

We have regular Holy Communion, Morning Prayer and Evensong services and we host a range of special services throughout the year, such as Harvest Festival and Mothering Sunday.

The church, as the largest and most prominent gathering place for the village community, is a focal point for events such as the Christmas fair, our village nativity play and many concerts. Any group interested in using the church for an event should contact a Church Warden.

We look forward to welcoming you.
